Product Details
Key Features:
• 4 Independent Valve Zones - Drives 24 VAC and latching DC solenoid valves with automatic valve-type detection
• On-Board Scheduling - Up to 16 stored schedules run autonomously, even without a network connection
• Direct RS-485 Sensor Inputs - Connect up to 8 industrial Modbus sensors (EC, pH, flow, climate, and more) straight to the Flo's RS-485 port; their readings flow into the Growbud app alongside your Growbud sensors
• Modbus RTU - The same RS-485 port can instead operate as a Modbus slave, putting all four valve zones under BMS control
• BACnet - Native BACnet MS/TP and BACnet/IP object support for building automation systems
• LoRaWAN Wireless - Miles of range through Growbud gateways, no WiFi required
• Bluetooth - BLE commissioning from the Growbud app, plus BLE-central mode that connects directly to Growbud sensors
• Flexible Deployment - Run it fully wireless over LoRaWAN alongside Dro and Vero sensors, or wire it in as a Modbus slave controlled over Ethernet/TCP directly from the Growbud app while it pulls in sensor data over Bluetooth
• Amazon Sidewalk support coming soon
• IP-sealed aluminum enclosure with M12/M8 industrial connectors
• 1-year warranty and 90-day return policy

Two Ways to Deploy
The Flo Controller fits into your operation in two distinct configurations: fully wireless alongside your Growbud sensors, or hardwired into your building management system. In either one, industrial RS-485 Modbus sensors can plug straight into the Flo and report into the Growbud app.
1. Wireless: LoRaWAN
Deploy the Flo exactly like your Dro and Vero sensors. It joins your Growbud gateway over LoRaWAN, and you control valves and schedules from the Growbud app anywhere. On-board schedules keep irrigating even if the network drops.
- • Flo + Dro/Vero sensors on the same LoRaWAN network
- • Wire third-party RS-485 Modbus sensors (EC, pH, flow) directly into the Flo
- • Miles of range, no WiFi required
- • Autonomous on-board scheduling as a fallback
2. Wired: Modbus + Bluetooth
Wire the Flo in as a Modbus slave and control it over Ethernet/TCP directly from the Growbud app or your BMS. In this mode the Flo runs as a Bluetooth central and connects to nearby Growbud sensors by itself, with no gateway needed.
- • Direct app control over Ethernet/TCP (Modbus)
- • BACnet MS/TP and BACnet/IP for building automation
- • Sensors connect straight to the Flo over BLE

Ideal For
Agriculture
Grow rooms, greenhouses, and outdoor farms: four independent valve zones driven by real substrate data, fully wireless over LoRaWAN, with on-board schedules that keep irrigating even when the network drops.
ExploreBuilding Management
A serious BMS solution: wire it in as a Modbus slave or native BACnet device, catch leaks in mechanical rooms, and run pumps, fans, and lighting alongside irrigation.
