Product Details

The Flo Controller is a professional 4-zone irrigation controller built for greenhouses, indoor facilities, and field operations. It drives up to four 24 VAC or latching DC solenoid valves, auto-detecting valve type per zone, with on-board scheduling and flow and leak sensor inputs. And it is more than an irrigation controller: with native Modbus and BACnet support it doubles as a serious building management controller for leak detection, pumps, fans, and lighting.

• Modbus RTU - The same RS-485 port can instead operate as a Modbus slave, putting all four valve zones under BMS control

Two Ways to Deploy

The Flo Controller fits into your operation in two distinct configurations: fully wireless alongside your Growbud sensors, or hardwired into your building management system. In either one, industrial RS-485 Modbus sensors can plug straight into the Flo and report into the Growbud app.

1. Wireless: LoRaWAN

Deploy the Flo exactly like your Dro and Vero sensors. It joins your Growbud gateway over LoRaWAN, and you control valves and schedules from the Growbud app anywhere. On-board schedules keep irrigating even if the network drops.

  • • Flo + Dro/Vero sensors on the same LoRaWAN network
  • • Wire third-party RS-485 Modbus sensors (EC, pH, flow) directly into the Flo
  • • Miles of range, no WiFi required
  • • Autonomous on-board scheduling as a fallback

2. Wired: Modbus + Bluetooth

Wire the Flo in as a Modbus slave and control it over Ethernet/TCP directly from the Growbud app or your BMS. In this mode the Flo runs as a Bluetooth central and connects to nearby Growbud sensors by itself, with no gateway needed.
